Introductory note:

The convenience of online shopping is becoming for many of us a necessity that comes with many benefits.

We save time, money, we have the possibility to choose from a very large number of products, we can compare their technical specifications, we can watch a multitude of photo or video images about these products, we can read the reviews of other buyers, we benefit from extremely advantageous or even free shipping conditions, etc. However, it can happen that even after a thorough search, measurements or any other criteria that we have taken into account when we made the decision to buy, once we get home the ordered products, we realize that they are not the ones we wanted or needed.

You don't have to regret but just read the return conditions below carefully before buying. Before starting the return procedures, we think it would be of real benefit to you to speak to one of our sales consultants, who can help you make the right decision. 

General conditions:

We inform you that in accordance with GEO34/2014, you benefit from a return request period of 14 calendar days valid from the date you received the product ordered online and delivered via a courier agreed by the supplier.

The provisions of GEO 34/2014 apply only to the consumer defined as any natural person or group of natural persons constituted in associations as defined in art. 2, point 2 of OG 21/1992 on consumer protection, republished, with subsequent amendments and additions.

According to GEO34/2014, the customer (natural person) who wishes to exercise the right of withdrawal and return, must take into account the following aspects:

- The returned product must be in the same physical and functional condition as it was when it was received under the online order.

- The customer shall be liable for the diminution in value of the good due to its use to an extent that exceeds the limit necessary to establish the nature of its characteristics and mode of operation.

- The supplier may retain an amount of money equivalent to the cost of reconditioning products returned with defects in appearance, function, missing accessories or incomplete, excessively damaged or missing packaging. This amount shall be determined by an authorised service on the basis of a quotation or repair estimate.

- The customer may also waive the return decision once the returned product has entered the Supplier's possession. In this case, the costs of returning or relocating the product shall be borne by the Customer.

 

SC HOME&OFFICE GLASS DESIGN SRL reserves the right to refuse to accept the return in the following situations:

- repeated returns (more than two repeated returns for the same product type, make and model).

- if more than one product of the same type, make and model has been purchased, only one unsealed product will be accepted for return (the remaining products are accepted only if they are sealed in the original packaging with all original labels).

Consequences of return

- If you choose to return the products, we will refund any amount we have received from you no later than 14 days from the date we are informed of your decision to return the products.

- In case you ship the products to us, we inform you that you will have to bear the cost of returning the products.

- In case of complete return (including in the case of refusal of receipt of the order or in case of impossibility of delivery) of the products, the transport cost paid by the customer will be refunded. In the case of a partial return, the cost of transport will not be refunded, being the cost of transport of the products received and accepted by you.

 

Costs borne by the seller:

Return shipping and courier costs for the product if the buyer cancels the purchase within 14 days of receipt of the product.

Product does not conform to the specifications in the seller's offer.

Product not conforming to the specifications mentioned in the buyer's order.

Product not working within 48 hours of receipt or parcels showing damage on receipt.

Shipment of improperly packaged product, which leads to its damage during transport, is entirely the responsibility of the sender.

The Supplier shall check the physical and functional appearance of the returned products within 14 days from the date of purchase and shall inform the Customer of their condition.

 

Return request:

Notification of the return decision will be made by completing the return form at https://

.glass-design.ro/formular-retur, also available by clicking on the link, or by sending an email to [email protected].

After completing the return form, the product in question must reach the Supplier within 14 calendar days.

Once you have registered your order, you can track its status from your customer account in the orders section.

 

Change or cancel order 

The possibility to cancel an order or delivery is available in your customer account, orders section. If cancellation is no longer possible from your account, if you have changed your mind and no longer want a product from your order, want another product than the one you ordered or no longer want any of the products you ordered, you can notify us as soon as possible at [email protected].   

 Our colleagues will do their best to modify or cancel your order. 

 

Conditions regarding the condition of the product for which the return is requested:

- it should be with specific identification labels intact.

- be accompanied by all the accessories with which it was delivered, including user manual and warranty certificate.

- not show any physical or functional damage.

- not to have missing elements or sub-assemblies.

- not have any traces of use or installation (food debris, dust, stains, scratches, cut pipes, modifications, etc.).

If the returned product was accompanied by promotional materials or gifts, these will also be returned in the same physical, functional and packaging conditions as received.

If the returned product does not meet the return conditions mentioned above, the supplier reserves the right (in accordance with GEO134/2014) to withhold from the value of the product the amounts necessary for its reconditioning in order to bring it back to the initial state when it was received by the customer.

Product does not conform to the specifications on the website:

If the ordered product proves not to be in accordance with the specifications of our offer, you can request its return for replacement or a full refund. If the replacement with a higher value product is accepted, you will pay the difference, or if the value is lower, you will receive a partial refund up to the value of the replacement product. The return and transport costs for the replacement product, if any, are borne by the supplier mentioned in the invoice (SC HOME&OFFICE GLASS DESIGN SRL).

If the product received is not working within 24 hours of receipt, you can complain about this and request the return of the product within this period in order to replace it with a new product. For products whose parcels are visibly damaged on receipt by courier, we recommend that you refuse to accept them. In order to avoid misunderstandings, the parcel will be photographed and a report will be drawn up together with the courier company representative specifying the condition of the parcel.

 Wrong products delivered (do not correspond in brand, category or model with the product ordered by the customer):

If you have received a product other than the one you ordered, please report this as soon as possible in order to return the product and replace it with the correct one. All costs of return and transport of the correct product will be borne by the Supplier, SC HOME&OFFICE GLASS DESIGN SRL.

In the event that the purchased product has manufacturing defects, it will be replaced with a new product, provided that SC HOME&OFFICE GLASS DESIGN SRL is notified in writing within 24 hours of receipt of the product. If SC HOME&OFFICE GLASS DESIGN SRL is unable to replace the product with an identical one, the product will be refunded.

Products that can only be returned sealed, in the original packaging with no traces of use (within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase):

The following product categories can only be returned sealed in the original packaging, and with all labels intact:

- Mirrors

- Shower screen

- Decorative glass objects

- Glass countertop

- Glass poles

 

Situations in which products purchased online cannot be returned:

Products in one or more of the following situations cannot be returned:

- Products brought on "special order" (SPECIAL ORDER is defined as the list of products ordered by the customer and not in the Supplier's usual stock but which can be delivered on the basis of a firm order and payment, on terms agreed by the parties.

- Product or packaging identification labels are damaged or missing;

- Air conditioners that have been installed, kitchen appliances that have been used, ironing machines that show signs of use (scratches, dents, missing accessories, limescale, etc.), vacuum cleaners that have been used, DIY appliances that have been used.

- Sanitary devices and objects that have been fitted or used: taps, taps, toilet bowls, bath tubs, soap dishes, towel or toilet paper holders, sieves and filters.

- Cosmetic products that are unsealed, used or tested or that are sealed but the container is broken and was not reported at the time of receipt by the customer.

- Personal care products used or tested: hair clippers, shavers, epilators, scissors, hair brushes, hair dryers with brush or styling device, hair straightening boards, razors, etc.

 

General lies:

In all the above cases, with the exception of defects during the warranty period, the products must be returned in the condition in which they were received, preferably in the original packaging and accompanied by all original accessories and documents. Deterioration of the products or placing them in an unsaleable condition will result in refusal of the return.

Returning products to SC HOME&OFFICE GLASS DESIGN SRL will be done only between Monday-Friday between 09:00-14:00, necessarily accompanied by the related tax invoice, without unjustified delays and, in any case, within a maximum of 14 days from the date on which you communicated us the return. The deadline is met if the products are returned before the 14-day period has expired.

 

Money back:

General conditions regarding the return of money to the customer:

The money will be returned only if the product has been paid by the customer and returned to the Supplier within the terms specified by law (OUG34/2014 with all subsequent additions).

For individuals, the money can be returned by bank transfer to the account or on request.

 

The deadline for returning the money:

- For products returned within the first 14 days of purchase, the refund period is 14 days from the date the Supplier received the returned product.

- For products with denial of service or which have been returned because they have been wrongly delivered or have been damaged in transit, the refund period is agreed upon.
